What does Toldmark do?
You tell a memory out loud and Toldmark writes it down on your device, in Dutch or English. You keep it as a transcript, a lightly edited text or a short story, and change it later by saying or typing what should be different.
Which devices write out my voice?
iPhones and iPads with iOS or iPadOS 26 use Apple's speech recognition on the device; Android phones use their own on-device recognizer where it has the language. The optional better speech model (461 MB on iPhone and iPad, 670 MB on Android) works on both. Recording works everywhere, and a recording is kept even when it cannot be written out yet.
Which devices make an edited text or a story?
Those use the model on the device: Apple Intelligence on iOS or iPadOS 26, and Gemini Nano on Android phones that have it. Everywhere else you keep the transcript and can write the rest yourself; the app says which applies.
Is a story always accurate?
No. Every draft is checked against what you said for invented names and numbers, lost denials and sentences you never said, and the story shows what the check found. The model can still get something wrong, so read it with your own memory beside it.
What is free?
Recording, transcripts, writing, import, export and backup are free, and so is one kept story made by the model. Deleting that story lets you make another.
What does the one-time unlock change?
€8.99 once lifts the limit on kept stories. There is no subscription. On the App Store Family Sharing is on; Google Play is a separate purchase.
Can I edit or export a story?
Yes. Edit it by hand or by voice; every change is a new version you can go back to. Export a story as PDF, Markdown or plain text.
Does anything I say leave my device?
No. Recording, transcription and writing run on the device. Toldmark has no account, no cloud sync and no server of ours. The only download is the optional speech model, which sends nothing of yours.
Can I recover deleted writing?
oomny has no copy of your notes, stories or recordings. Keep your own backup file from Settings; deleting everything asks for confirmation first.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Toldmark, then Settings and Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple or Google account you bought it with. Restoring the unlock does not restore notes or stories; your backup file does that.
