From a memory to a story you keep

Toldmark gives you a place to tell what you want to remember, then helps you keep it in your own words.

Tell it out loud

Press record and talk, with the screen off if you like. The recording is saved every few seconds, so an interruption, a call or a crash loses nothing, and an interrupted recording says what was kept. Pause, carry on later, or keep it as a draft. Prefer typing? Writing it yourself is always there.

Written out on your device

Dutch and English are transcribed on the device: with Apple's speech recognition on iOS or iPadOS 26, and with the phone's own on-device recognizer on Android where it has the language. An optional better speech model (NVIDIA Parakeet, a one-time download you start and can remove) works on both. Names you confirm are kept spelled your way.

Three ways to keep it

Keep a transcript of exactly what you said, a lightly edited text, or a short story in a plain, warm first-person voice. The last two use the model on the device: Apple Intelligence on iOS 26, Gemini Nano on Android phones that have it. Every draft is checked against what you said for invented names and numbers, lost denials and a sentence you never said, and the story shows what it found.

Change it by voice

Say or type what should change: replace a name, add a sentence, remove a paragraph. Toldmark shows the text before and after with a summary in words, and nothing changes until you apply it. Every change, your own edits included, is a new version you can go back to.

Bring your notes, take your stories

Import text and Markdown files, a Day One export or an Apple Journal export; importing twice adds nothing. Make a chapter from a month, a year or the notes you pick. Export a story as PDF, Markdown or text, and make one backup file with everything, restored without duplicates.

Choose what to keep

Recording, transcripts, writing, export and backup are free, and so is one kept story. Pay €8.99 once to keep every story. No subscription; on the App Store the unlock includes Family Sharing, and Google Play is a separate purchase.

Control your data

Everything stays on your device and in the backup file you make. Delete a note, a story or everything at once from Settings, behind a confirmation. Deleted writing and recordings cannot be recovered by oomny.
